(i) Shower Baths. Adequate shower facilities <br />with hot and cold water and adequate in number for <br />both males and females shall be provided. All persons <br />entering the. pool shall be required to take a cleansing <br />shower bath and soap therefor shall be provided. <br /> <br /> (j) Cross Connections. Cross connections be- <br />tween the city water supply or the sewer system shall <br />not be permitted. <br /> <br /> (k) Indicating, Recording, Totalizing Instruments, <br />Etc. When necessary, in the opinion of the Director, <br />indicating, recording, tota!izing instruments, flow <br />meters or indicators and pressure gauges shall be in~ - .... <br />stalled at such points as may be designated by the <br />Director. <br /> <br /> (1) Hair and Lint Interceptors. Hair and <br />ihterceptors shall be installed so that all wa~r <br />from the pool for recircula%ion shall pass through the <br />hair and lint interceptors before reaching the <br /> <br /> (m) Drinking Water. Lavatory and drinking wat%r <br />supplies shall be adequate in qualit~ and quantity. <br /> <br /> (n) Walks. Walks providing ingress and egress <br />to the swimming pool must be of ample size and satis- <br />factorily drained. <br /> <br /> ~o) Lighting. Satisfactory lighting <br />provided for all accessory and appurtenant facilities. <br /> <br /> (p) ~ose. Hose connections and hose must be of <br />ample size and pressure to clean all of tke pool area. <br /> <br />- (~) Steps. Steps a~d ladders must be-mad~ ~f~ <br />an impervious-material, easily cleaned and must be so <br />designed as not to collect water when the water is <br />lowered in the swimming pool. <br /> <br /> '(r) Pollution. Swimming pools must notbe exposed <br />to excesszve pollution by dust, ~moke, soot or other <br />undesirable substances. <br /> <br /> (s) Disinfecting Equipment.
