(i) Shower Baths. Adequate shower facilities <br />wAth ho~ and cold w&~er and adequate i~ number for both <br />males and females shall be provided. All persmns enter- <br />ing the pool shall be required to take a cleansing shower <br />bath and soap therefor shall be provided. <br /> <br /> (j) Cross Connections. Ail cross connections be- <br />tween the city water supply or the sewer system shall <br />be constructed in a manner approved by the Director. <br /> <br /> (k) Indicating, Recording, Totatizing Instruments, <br />Etc. When necessary, in the opinion of the Director, <br />indicating, recording, totalizing instruments, flow <br />me=ers or indicators and pressure gauges shal.i be <br />stalled at such points as may be designated by the Di- <br />rector. <br /> <br /> (1) Hair and Lint Interceptors. Hair and lint <br />interceptors shall be installed so that all water drawn <br />from ~le pool for recirculation shall pass through the <br />hair and lint interceptors before reaching the filter. <br /> <br /> (m) Drinking Water. Lavatory and drinking water <br />supplies shall be adequate in q'uality and quantity. <br /> <br /> (n) Walks. Walks providing ingress and egress <br />to the swimming pool must be of ample size and satis- <br />factorily drained. <br /> <br /> (o) Lighting. Satisfactory lighting must be pro- <br />vided for all accessory and appurtenant facilities. <br /> <br /> (p) Hose. tlose connections and hose must be of <br />ample size and pressure to clean all of the pool area. <br /> <br /> (q) Steps. Steps and ladders must be made of an <br />impervious material, easily cleaned and must be so de- <br />signed as not to collect water When the water is lower- <br />ed in the swimming pool. <br /> <br /> (r) Pollution. Swimming pools must not be exposed <br />to excessive pollution by dust, smoke, soot or other un- <br />desirable substances. <br /> <br /> (s) Disinfecting Equipment. Disinfecting equip- <br />ment adequate for the purpose must be provided as an <br />integral part of the swimming pool. <br /> <br /> <br />
