Repairs or alterations whieh affect the operation of a <br />septic tank or a grease trap shall not be made to any septic tank <br />or grease trap on any premises accessible to a public sanitary <br />sewer or on the line of the city sewer system~ In the event such <br />repairs or alterations become necessary, and such public sewer faci- <br />lities are accessible, then the use cf the septic tank and grease <br />trap shall be discontinued and the o~ner shall have all the plum~- <br />ing on the premises connected with the city sewer. <br /> <br /> Connections to septic tanks and grease traps shall be <br />made only by registered.plumbers, after the tank and grease trap <br />have been inspected and approved by ~he Director of Public Health. <br /> <br />113.5 DISCONTINUA~NCE OF USE OF SEPTIC TANKS <br /> <br /> (a) Whenever the use of any septic tank is discontinued, <br />said septic tank shall be filled wit~ sand or other suitable solid <br />material. <br /> <br />113.6 DiSCONTI~UANCE OF BUILDING SE'~q~R <br /> <br /> Whenever a building is connected with the public sewer <br />-is demolished or torn down, the owner of said building, or agent~ <br />shall be required to disconnect the premises from said sewer and <br />securely seal s~me at the property line. <br /> <br />3.
