paid the sum of fifty cents. When a number plate is issued to <br />replace one that has been mutilated, lost, stolen or misplaced, <br />there shall be paid the sum of fifty cents. Said fees shall be <br />paid to the chief of police and by him paid over to the city <br />treasurer. <br /> <br />Sec. 18-262. Removing, destroying tag or decal. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to remove, destroy, <br />mutilate or alter any license tag or decal. <br /> <br />Sec. 18-263. Change in frame ~umber. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to remove, change, <br />alter or mutilate any bicycle frame number, provided however, <br />that when any bicycle is registered hereunder and it appears <br />that the frame number has become obliterated or is illegible, <br />or that the s~e has no frame number, the chief may cause a <br />new frame number to be placed thereon for registration purposes. <br /> <br />Sec. 18-264. Revocation of license; impounding bicycles. <br /> <br /> The chief of police shall have the right to suspend or <br />revoke the license tag or decal or to impound the bicycle of any <br />licensee, at his discretion, upon the submission of satisfactory <br />evidence of the violation of any of the provisions of this article, <br />after due notice and an opportunity to be heard has been given <br />any licensee. Any person whose license has been so suspended or <br />revoked or bicycle has been impounded, shall have the right to ap- <br />peal to the municipal court of the city. <br /> <br />Sec. 18-266. Dealers in secondhand bicycles - Weekly report <br /> of purchases. <br /> <br /> Ail persons engaged in the business of buying or sell- <br />ing secondhand bicycles are hereby required to make a weekly re- <br />port to the police division, giving the name and address of the <br />person from whom each bicycle is purchased, the frame number <br />thereof, and the number of the license tag or decal found there- <br />on, if any. <br /> <br />Sec. 18-267. Same - Weekly report of sales. <br /> <br /> Ail persons engaged in the business of buying or selling <br />new or secondhand bicycles are hereby required to make a weekly re- <br />port to the police division, giving a list of all sales made by <br />such dealers, which list shall include the name and address of the <br />person to whom sold, the kind of bicycle sold, together with the <br />description and frame number thereof and the number of the license <br />tag or decal attached thereto, if any. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
