refuse from a delinquent operator, owner or tenant after <br />giving fifteen days written notice thereof, a copy of the <br />notice shall be delivered to the City Attorney, the Health <br />Department, the Delinquent Tax Collector and the Director <br />of Public Utilities. The delinquent tax collector shall <br />include the delinquent charges with other taxes or fees <br />to be collected from the operator, owner or tenant, and <br />the Director of Public Utilities may, in addition, dis- <br />continue water and sewer service to the delinquent operator, <br />owner or tenant. <br /> <br /> (g) Charges for service shall be discontinued <br />by the Director only upon notification that a particular <br />operator, owner or tenant is no longer in business or <br />living ag a designated location. <br /> <br /> 2. An emergency exists and this ordinance shall <br />take effect from its passage. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held June 27, 1972. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
