(1) Be put in writing; <br /> <br />(2) Idehtify the violation found; <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />Allow a reasonable time, not to exceed 120 <br />days for correction of the violations, l~ere <br />violations give rise to immediate health or <br />safety hazards to occupants, visitors, or per- <br />sons near the premises, the director shall re- <br />quire corrections to be made with dispatch. <br />Where health or safety hazards are present, <br />the Housing Board of Adjustment~and Appeals <br />shall not recognize difficultie~ in obtain- <br />ing labor or repair materials as grounds for <br />granting of any variance or extension of time <br />in which to comply. <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />Said notice shall further state that if the <br />violations are not corrected within the stated <br />time as set forth in the notice, legal pro- <br />ceedings will be instituted against the person <br />or persons responsible for the premises. <br /> <br /> (6) Section 103.2(b) (3) and Section 308.3(c) be <br />deleted in their entirety. <br /> <br /> (7) Section 104 of said Southern Standard Housing <br />.Code, 1969 Edition, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />104 Inspections. <br /> <br /> The dire6tor of public health shall make or cause to <br />be made inspections to determine the condition of dwellings, <br />dwelling units, rooming units, and premises in the interest <br />of safeguarding the health and safety of the occupants of <br />dwellings and of the general public. For the purpose of <br />making such inspegtions, the director of public health, or <br />his agent, is hereby authorized to enter, examine, and survey <br />at all reasonable times all dwellings, dwelling units, rooming <br />units, and premises, subject to the provisions of Section 103.1. <br /> <br /> (8) Section 108 of said Southern Standard Housing <br />Code, 1969 Edition, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />108 Violations and Penalties. <br /> <br /> Any person, firm corporation or agent, who shall <br />violate a provision of this Code, or fail to comply therewith] <br />or with any of the-requirements thereof, or who shall erect, <br />construGt, alter, demolish or move any structure, or has erec- <br /> <br /> <br />
