(c) <br /> <br />Any light used to illuminate such parking area <br />shall be so arranged as to reflect the light <br />away from any adjoining premises used or zoned <br />for residential purposes~ <br /> <br />(d) Ail such parking spaces shall have direct access <br /> to a public street. Adequate space shall be pro- <br /> vided for the maneuvering of vehicles. Detailed <br /> plans showing all entrances, exits, barricades, <br /> bumper guards and drainage plans shall be sub- <br /> mitred to the city engineer for approval before <br /> a permit for such construction may be obtained. <br /> The following minimum dimensional requirements <br /> shall be observed in every case, unless, upon <br /> written application, the city manager shall de- <br /> termine that some deviation therefrom is necessary <br /> to prevent a demonstrable hardship upon the property <br /> owner or ~s in the best interest of public safety. <br />(1) No driveway shall exceed thirty-five (35) feet in <br /> width at the property line, nor fifty ~50) feet <br /> at the curblineo <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />No driveway, at the curbline, shall be located <br />within fifteen (15) feet of the property line of <br />an intersecting street, and in no case nearer <br />than five (5) feet from the end of the curb radius. <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />No driveway shall be located within ten (10] feet, <br />at the curbtine, from the line of the adjacent pro- <br />perty, except in the Historic District where there <br />shall be no required setback of driveways from ad- <br />jacent property. <br /> <br />(4) Where more than one driveway is provided along a <br /> frontage in single ownership, there must be a <br /> separation of at least twenty (20) feet at the <br /> curbline, and a six (6) inch raised protective <br /> curb parallel to the street extending not less <br /> than two-thirds (2/3) the length of the island <br /> shall be placed inside the property line between <br /> the driveway. <br /> <br />(e) <br /> <br />Ail such off-street parking spaces shall be proper- <br />ly graded and maintained in such manner as to per- <br />mit use thereof at all times. Such parking spaces <br />shall not be reduced in total extent, after their <br />provision hereunder, except under the approval of <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
