AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THAT PORTION OF SECTION 27-25~ CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1973, AS AMENDED, WHICH <br />ADDS SECTION 106.4 TO THE SOUTHERN STANDARD PLUMBING CODE <br />PERTAINING TO CHARGES FOR SEWER CONNECTIONS - GENERALLY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia, that: <br /> <br /> 1. That the portion ~f~Section 27-25 of the Code <br />of the City of Portsmouth, ~irginia, 1973, which adds Section <br />106.4 to the Southern Standard Plumbing Code, be amended and <br />reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />106.4--Charges for sewer connections - generally. <br /> <br /> When connection is made with the city sewer, the <br />following charges shall be made for each c~nnection in addi- <br />tion to the fee schedule set forth in Section 106.3(a) and <br />(b): <br /> <br />Ca) Residential: <br /> <br />(1) Single family residence ................ $150.00 <br />(2) Multi-family buildings: for the <br /> first dwelli~? unit ............. 150.00 <br /> Additional unit ........... : ..... ~ 75.00 <br />(3) Row or townhouses: each building <br /> unit <br /> ................................... 150.00 <br /> <br />(b) Commercial and industrial: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Commercial an~ industrial buildings: <br />first connection to each such building . 150.00 <br />For hotels, motels, motor courts and <br />like structures ....... <br /> ............... 150.00 <br /> <br />lng Plus .............................
