from the party for whom the services were performed a fee of <br />eight dollars ($8.00) in addition to any costs incurred by <br />advertising in any news media of the proposed sale of the pro- <br />perty. <br /> <br /> 10. Whenever on any decree of judgment in a civil <br />case any fieri facias issued by the clerk of any court is placed <br />in the hands of the High Constable and no levy is made or forth- <br />coming bond is taken thereon, and a return is made by the High <br />Constable, he shall be allowed a fee of one dollar fifty cents <br />($1.50) for making the return. <br /> <br /> 11. The High Constable receiving payments, under an <br />execution or other process, in money, or Selling goods, shall <br />receive a commission of ten per centum of the first three <br />hundred dollars ($300.OO) of money paid and five per centum on <br />the residue. <br /> <br /> (b) The fees collected by the High Constable shall <br /> be paid into the treasury of the City regularly, but not less <br /> than once a month. All fees and commissions of every kind and <br /> character, whether payable by the commonwealth, the United <br /> States, or by private personst firms or corporations, now or <br /> hereafter receivable by law or ordinance by the High Constable, <br /> shall continue to be paid to an~ collecte~ by him and shall be <br /> paid into the treasury of the City, except that the City shall <br /> not be required to pay to him any fees or commissions for <br /> services performed for such City. <br /> <br /> (c) The High Constable shall be paid a salary out <br />of the treasury of the City as provided by law, which salary <br />shall be in full compensation for his services and shall be in <br />lieu of the retention by him of any and alI'official fees and <br />commissions of whatever kind or character, and from whatever <br />source derived; the expenses of his office, including the com- <br />pensation of deputies and employees · <br />out of the treasury of the City. , shall be l~kewise paid <br /> <br /> 2.
