age of eighteen (18) years an air rifle. Violation of <br />this section shall be punishable as a class 4 misdemeanor. <br /> <br /> (c) It shall be unlawful for any parent, guardian <br />other person having the care, control or custody of a <br />person under the age of eighteen (18) years, knowingly <br />to permit or suffer any child under the age of eiqhteen <br />(18) years to own, use or have in his possession within <br />the city an air rifle. The fact that a child under the <br />age of eighteen (18) years is found with, or is proven <br />to have had, in his possession, an air rifle shall be <br />prima facie evidence that the parent, guardian or <br />other person having control of such child diR knowingly <br />permit or suffer the child to own, use or have in his <br />possession an air rifle. Violation of this section <br />shall be punishable as a class 4 misdemeanor. <br /> <br /> 5o That Section 21-40 be amender to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />Section 21-40. Forfeiture of certain weapons used in <br /> commission of criminal offense. <br /> <br /> Ail pistols, shotguns, rifles, dirks, bowie knives, <br />sw~itchblade knives, razors, s!ungshots~ brass or metal <br />knucks, blackjacks and other weapons used by any person or <br />persons in the commission of a criminal offense, may, upon <br />convlction of such person or persons so using the same, <br />be forfeited to the Commonwealth by order of the court trying <br />the case, which shall make such disposition of such weapons as <br />it deems proper by entry of an order of record. <br /> <br />6. That Section 21-42 be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 21-42. Permit required to obtain weapon from Realer. <br /> <br /> Before any person purchases or otherwise acquires <br />from a dealer any pistol or any weapon of a like kinR, he <br />shall obtain a permit therefor from the Chief of Police. <br /> <br />7. That Section 21-43 be amender to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 21-43. Action upon permit application. <br /> <br /> (a) Whenever the applicant for a permit to purchase <br />or otherwise acquire a pistol or any weapon of a like kind <br />produces a certified order of the judge of the C±rcuit Court <br />authorizing the applicant to carry the subject weapon as a <br />concealed weapon, the Chief of Police shall issue such Dermit~ <br /> <br /> <br />
