(b) If any person carry about his person, hidden <br />from common observation, any knife, hood, ice pick or other <br />sharp instrument which has a blade or point more than two <br />and three-fourth (2-3/4) inches measured along the outside <br />perimeter from base to tip of blade or point and which is <br />capable of inflicting upon a person a stab or cut wound, <br />he shall be guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor. <br /> <br />(c) Definitions - When used in the Article: <br /> <br /> (1) Brass knuckles - A set of metal finger <br />rings or guards attached to a transverse piece and worn <br />over the front of the doubled fist for use as a weapon. <br /> <br /> (2) Bowie knife - A stout single edqed <br />hunting knife with part of the back edge curved concavely to <br />a point and sharpened. <br /> <br />(3) Dirk - A long straight bladed dagger. <br /> <br /> (4) Hook A curved or bent device for <br />catchingt holding or pulling. <br /> <br /> (5) Razor - A keen-edged instrument for <br />shaving or cutting hair. <br /> <br /> (6) Switchblade knife - A pocket knife <br />having the blade spring-operated so that pressure on a <br />release catch causes it to fly open. <br /> <br /> (7) Slung Shot - ~ cord adapted so as to <br />throw stones or other projectiles through a rapid swinging <br />movement of the arm. <br /> <br /> 4. That Section 21-39 be amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 21-39. Furnishing certain weapons to minors. <br /> <br /> (a) If any person sell, barter, give or furnish, or <br />cause to be sold, bartered, given or furnished to any <br />minor a pistol, dirk, switchblade knife or bowie knife, <br />having good cause to believe~him to be a minor, such <br />person shall be guilty of a class 4 misdemeanor. <br /> <br /> (b) It shall be unlawful for any person to purchase <br />for, sell, lease, give or lend to any person under the <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
