Section 23-511. Following too close to water skiers, surfbosrders~ <br /> etc. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any persc~ operating any motor boat bo <br />follow any person ~r persons on water skis, surfboard or other similar <br />device closer than one hundred feet. <br /> <br />Section 23-512. Passing too close to capsized beats. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person operating an~ motor boat <br />towing water skis, surfboard or other similar device, or for the person <br />er persons being towed to pass within one hundred feet of any motor <br />boat, sailboat or other water craft which has capsized unless such ~oat <br />is effecting a rescue or rendering aid or assistance, or unless such <br />boat is operated wholly within a marked channel and if such boat has <br />reduced its speed to five miles per hour. <br /> <br />Section 23-513. Loud, etc., noises prohibited. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person, ~aite aboard any motor boat, <br />vessel, barge or any other water craft, whether under way, drifting, <br />berthed or at anchor, to make or create any loud, disturbing or unreasor~ <br />able noise of such character, intensity or duration as to be dental <br />to the health or life of any person or to unreasonably disturb or annoy <br />the quiet, comfort or repose of any person. <br /> <br />Section 23-514. Violations of article - Penalty. <br /> <br /> Any person violating any provision of this article for whichno <br />specific p~nalty is provided shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished <br />for conviction of a Class 3misdemeanor. <br /> <br />Section 23-515. Same - Issuance of summons. <br /> <br /> When any violation of the provisions of this article is cc~mi~ <br />in the presence of any police officer while in the discharge of his <br />duty, he shall take the name and address of the person violating t/qe <br />same and shall issue a su~ons or otherwise notify such person, in <br />writing, to appes~ before a judge of the General District Court of the <br />city, at a time to be specified in such shm~ons or notice, for a hearing <br />on such violation. Upon the serving of such su~r~ns or giving of such <br />notice, the person charged %rith such violation shall give his writ-hen <br />promise to appear at the time and place designated. <br /> <br /> Any person refusing togive such writtenprc~ise to appear shall be <br />taken ~url~e~atelybythe arresting officer or other police officer <br />~efore the nearest and most accessible judicial officer or other person <br />qualified to admit to bail having jurisdiction under this article. <br /> <br /> <br />
