AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1973, BY AMENDING SECTION 40-102[I), PERTAINING <br />TO USES PERMITTED IN LIMITED BUSINESS HISTORIC SUB-DISTRICTS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 40-102[I) shall be amended and re- <br />ordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 40-102(t). Historic limited sub-districts. <br /> <br /> The following regulations shall apply to such historic <br />limited sub-districts as are established: <br /> <br /> (t) Uses shall be limited to those allowed in C~I as <br />prescribed in and for that zoning district and housing for <br />the elderly and multi-family dwellings as prescribed in and <br />for historic residential sub-districts~ <br /> <br /> (2) The Commission of Architectural Review may issue <br />a Certificate of Appropriateness for alterations proposed in <br />any sub-d±st~icts established on Alton Parkway. in Cradock <br />(February-t0, 1975) and may alter required off-street parking <br />and loading requirements. <br /> <br /> Adopted~by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held June 2~ 1978. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
