(c) Any person convicted for failure to pay the license <br />tax prior to February 1 of any year or as otherwise provided <br />in this division on any dog owned by him shall be fined not <br />to exceed One Hundred ($100.) Dollars and be required to obtain <br />proper license forthwith and unless the fine and license tax <br />are i~ediately paid, the trial court shall order the dog <br />killed by the game warden or some other officer, but the killing <br />of such dog shall not relieve the o%~ner of the payment of the <br />fine or the license tax already due. <br /> <br /> (d) Any person who makes a <br />secure a dog license to which he <br />fined not to exceed One Hundred <br /> <br />false statement in order to <br />is not entitled shall be <br />($100.) Dollars. <br /> <br /> (e) Each day that a violation of any ordinance or part <br />thereof in Chapter 4 of the Code of the C~ty of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, 1973, as amended, occurs or each separate instance <br />during a day in which a violation of the aforesaid Code <br />exists~ shall be treated as a separate offense. <br /> <br /> (2) This ordinance shall take effect from the date of <br />its adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held October 9, 1979. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
