"spirits", "mixed beverages", "beer", and"wine" whenever used in <br />this section shall have the meanings respectively prescribed to them <br />~y said Act. ~ ~ <br /> <br /> e. No license shall be issued under this section to any person <br />unless such person shall hold or shall 'secure simultaneously therewith <br />the proper state license required by said "Alcoholic Beverage Control <br />Act," which state license shall be exhibited to the commissioner of <br />the revenue. <br /> <br /> f. Any license within the scope of this section may be <br />amended to show a change in the place of business within the city. <br />Any such license may be transferred from one person to another, <br />provided the person to whom transferred holds at the sa~e time a <br />similar license from the alcoholic beverage control board. <br /> <br />Section 20-58. Amusement Arcades. <br /> <br /> a. On each amusement arcade where games are played and pictures <br />are shown by means of a coin-ln-the-slot machine, in which may be <br />installed coins of a denomination of not less than five cents ($0.05), <br />there shall be charged a license tax as follQws: One hundred twenty <br />dollars ($120.00) where the machines do not exceed fifty (50) in <br />number, and three hundred dollars ($300.00) where the machines exceed <br />fifty (50) in number. Such license shall not be proratable. <br /> <br /> b. No license shall be issued for any amusement arcade having <br />less than twenty (20) machines, and the tax paid under this section <br />shall be in lieu of a separate license for each separate machine. <br /> <br /> c. No license shall be issued for an amusement arcade having more <br />than one room or enclosure. <br /> <br /> d. The City Manager shall have authority to revoke any license <br />issued under this section upon conviction of violation of any law. <br /> <br />Section 20-59. Amusement Parks. <br /> <br /> a. Any person operating any permanent park for public amusement <br />in the city which shall be open to the public, for the privilege of <br />operating within such park a bowling alley, hobby horse, merryrgo- <br />round, Ferris wheel, old mill, roller coaster, pony or train rides, <br />and other similar amusements, penny or nickel machines for exhibiting <br />pictures, automatic photo machines, bathhouses, boathouses and parking <br />lots shall pay the following license tax: One Thousand Dollars <br />($1,000.00), and in addition thereto thirty cents ($0.30) per one ?~ <br />hundred dollars ($100.00) of the gross receipts, exclusive of any <br />federal and city admission tax thereon, from all such activities, <br />except the gross receipts from the operation of such boathouses, <br />bathhouses and parking lots. <br /> <br /> b. When such amusement park has two (2) or less of the above <br />accumulated amusements, such license tax shall be as follows: One <br />hundred fifty dollars ~$150.00), and in addition thereto, thirty <br />cents ($0.30) per one hundred dollars ($I00.00) of the gross receipts <br />therefrom, exclusive of any federal and city admission tax thereon. <br /> <br /> c. Whenever such amusement within said park is operated by a <br />person other than the operator of such park, such person shall pay <br /> <br /> <br />
