lb) Bonds of Level Two Plumbing Workers. Every Level Two <br />Plumbing Worker doing plumbing work within the City shall give <br />a gond of Five Thousand ($5,000.) Dollars, in the form approved <br />by the department of law payable to the City with surety con- <br />ditioned to indemnify and save harmless the City as well as <br />any other person from all expenses and damage that may be <br />caused by any neglect, defective or inadequate work done in <br />the City under this Level Two Plumbing Worker's Certificate, <br />and to secure the payment of fees and permits. When any <br />plumbing work done by any Level Two Plumbing Worker or person <br />working for him shall be deemed defective or inadequate by <br />the senior plumbing inspector, and the contractor and plu/r~er <br />shall fail to revise or put such work in proper condition to <br />the satisfaction of the senior plumbing inspector within ten <br />(10) days after written notice from the senior plumbing <br />inspector so to do, the bond shall be forfeited, and the <br />principal and surety on such bond shall be and become liable <br />for and shall pay so much on account of such bond as may be <br />necessary in order to perfec~ such work and, in addition <br />thereto, shall pay any and all damages which may be occasioned <br />to any person by reason~of such defective or inadequate work. <br /> <br /> (c) It shall be unlawful for any person to display a <br />sign Stating or.implying that he or they are carrying on-the <br />business o~ plumbing, Or to advertise by means of bus'ness <br />cards, stationery~or any publication, claim orally to any <br />prospective customer or otherwise indicate that they are in <br />the business of plumbing or 'are offering to do plumbing unless <br />they are licensed ~nd registered as Level %~o Plumbing Workers <br />as provided in this code. ~ <br /> <br /> (d) Any Level Two Plumbing Worker who shall neglect <br />or refuse to comply with these regulations, or with the <br />conditions of his permit, shall have his license suspended <br />or revoked by the senior plumbing inspector or the building <br />official, and shall, thereby, be debarred from obtaining <br />permits to do plumbing work for such time as the'Plumbing <br />Board may deem just. and proper; and he shall also be subject <br />to ~ny'other penalties herein provide~ <br /> <br /> (e) Responsibility for damages for improper work. Every <br />Level Two Plumbing Worker shall make good to those employing <br />him, damages arising by reason of violation of.any law, ordinance, <br />rule or regulation concerning plumbing. <br /> <br /> (f') Bad faith or unreasonable delay in performance of <br />work. Bad faith or unreasonable delay in the performance of <br />plumbing work, for which a permit has been obtained, shall be <br />deemed s~fficient reason for subjecting the Level Two Plumbing <br />Worker so affending to a suspension of his license.
