AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF WYTHE STREET, P~RRISON STREET, AND RANDOLPH STREET. WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, has made application to vacate and close and discontinue the hereinafter described portions of certain streets; and WHEREAS, by resolution of %his Council adopted September 8, 1981, viewers were appointed pursuant to Section 15.1-364, Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended to view the hereinafter-described portions of said streets and to report in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result from discontinuing said streets; and WHEREAS, their opinion discontinuing the said viewers have reported in writing that in no inconvenience would result from the closing and of said streets. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia that the hereinafter-described portion of said streets be closed and vacated as public streets. PARCEL i - WYTHE STREET Ail that portion of Wythe Street extended having a uniform width of 60' and lying between the eastern boundary of First Street and the established ~ierhead line of the southern branch of the Elizabeth River. PARCEL II HARRISON STREET Ail that portion of Harrison Street extended having a uniform widtk of 60' and lying between the eastern boundary of First Street and the es- tablished pierhead line of the southern branch of the Elizabeth Ri~er. PARCEL III - RANDOLPH STREET Ail that_ portion of Randolph Street extended having a uniform width of 60' and lying between the eastern boundary of First Street and the es- tablished pierhead line of the southern branch of the Elizabeth River. ~S-81-4, S-81-5, S-81-6).
