(1) Roi1 call; <br />(2) Recognitions and presentations; <br />(3) Approval of Minutes; <br />(4) Public hearings, but only if such hearings <br /> shall be part of the Council Meeting; <br />(5) Unfinished business; <br /> (a) Consent Agenda; <br /> (b) Other unfinished business; <br />~6) Reports and rec6mmendations from the City <br /> Manager; <br />(7) New business; <br /> (a) Appointments to Boards and Commissions; <br /> (b) Remarks by citizens on non-agenda items; <br /> (c) Receipt of other communications; <br /> (d) Items submitted by Council Members; <br />(8) Adjournment. <br /> <br /> (B) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (D), the <br />order of business at all public hearings of'City Council shall <br />be as follows: <br /> <br />(i) Roll call; <br />(2) Public hearing~ <br />(3) Adjournment. <br /> <br /> (C) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (D), <br />order of business at all public work sessions shall be as <br />follows: <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />(1) Roll call; <br />(2) Public work session; <br />(3) Motion for Executive Session, <br />(4) Adjournment. <br /> <br />if needed; <br /> <br /> (D) The City Council may, by appropriate motion, permit <br />consideration of an ordinance, resolution or motion out of the <br />regular order and/or direct that any matter be placed on the <br />agenda of a specific future meeting at such point in the agenda <br />as Council may deem proper. <br /> <br />Section 2-56. Request by citizens to address Council. <br /> <br /> (a) 'All request fro~ members of the general public to- <br />address City Council on a subject on the meeting's agenda shall <br />be submitted to the City Clerk or his designee prior to the call <br />of the meeting to order. Such request shall be on registration <br />forms prescribed by the Clerk and shall include the name of <br />the speaker, his address, telephone nuafoer, the name of the group <br />or organization, if any, on whose behalf he is speaking, the <br />number of the Agenda 'Item to which the citizen will speak, and <br />whether he supports or opposes the agenda item.
