AN ORDINANCE TO ~END SECTIONS 14-39, 14-40, 14-45 AND 14-46 <br />OF TEE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTS~4OUT~, VIRGINIA, 1973, PERTAIN- <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Sections 14-39, <br />Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />14~40, 14-45 and 14-46 of the <br /> Virginia, 1973, be amended and <br /> <br />Section 14-39. Rates for Dwelling Units and Certain Other <br /> Establis~ents. <br /> <br /> The service charge for the collection and disposal of <br />trash and garbage from any dwelling unit and any other establish- <br />ment not subject to the char~es imposed by Section 14-40 or <br />14-41 shall be at the rate of five dollars ($5.00) per month <br />per dwe!linq unit, or, in the case of such other establishments, <br />at the rate of five dollars ($5.00) Der month for each such <br />other establishment. The charges impose~ un~er this section <br />shall be billed with the statement rendered for water and <br />sewer charges. <br /> <br />Section 14-40.
