AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 24-140 OF THE CODE OF THE <br />_ _ ~2/ZE~_OF.~RO~kKE~V~!~J~.IA~-7~73-~--~--RTA~ING TO_Q_FEES <br /> FOR THE USE OF THE NATIONAL GUARD A~4ORY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 24-140 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, be amended and reordained to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 24-140. Fees - Established. <br /> <br /> The following fees shall be charged for the use of <br />the armo-~f~: <br /> <br /> (a) For use by a nonprofit organization, provided <br />no charge for admission is made: ~o hundred a~d fifty <br />dollars ($250.00) per day or fraction thereof. <br /> <br /> (b) For use by a nonprofit organization, if a charge <br />for admission is made: Three hundred and fifty dollars <br />($350.00) per day or fraction thereof. <br /> <br /> (c) For use by a commercial organization (one show): <br />Five hundred dollars ($500.00) per day or fraction thereof. <br /> <br /> (d) For use by a commercial organization (two (2) or <br />more shows): Six hundred and fifty dollars ($650.00) per <br />day or fraction thereof. <br /> <br /> (e) For use as a commercial e~hibition or exposition <br />center or as a convention center by a commercial or non- <br />commercial organization: Two hundred and fifty dollars <br />($250.00) per day or fraction thereof. <br /> <br /> (f) For use by private individuals for the purpose of <br />holding a private reception, provided no charge for a~ission <br />is made: One hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) per day <br />or fraction thereof. <br /> <br />2.
