AN ORDINANCE TO ~END THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1973, BY AMENDING SECTION 40-31 THEREOF, PERTAINING <br />TO THE DEFINiTiON OF KENNELS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: ~ <br /> <br /> i. That Section 40-31 of the C.ode of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia~ 1973, be ~m~ended, by changing the <br />definition of kennels to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 40-31~ Definition. <br /> <br /> KENNELS: Any place in or at which dogs are kept under <br />any one or more of the following conditions: <br /> <br /> (1) More than five (5) dogs of more than six (6) months <br />of age; <br /> <br /> (2) Any number of dogs that are kept for the <br />sale or rental~ or in connection with the boarding, <br />breeding for which any fee is charged. <br /> <br />purpose of <br />care or <br /> <br /> 2.
