AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1973, BY AMENDING SECTION 7-30, PERTAINING TO <br />SCHEDULE OF FEES AND CHARGES IN CEMETERIES. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Cov~cil of the City of Portsmouth, <br />virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 7-30 of the Code of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia, be amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 7-30. Schedule of prices and charges for work <br /> performed; payment. <br /> <br /> (a) The following schedule of prices is hereby established <br />fo~ work performed in the several cemeteries ~n the City: <br /> <br /> (!) For opening graves four (4) feet and under <br />in length ............................................... $125.00 <br /> <br /> (2) For opening graves over four (4) feet in <br />length .................................................. 275.00 <br /> <br /> ~3~ For opening graves for burials after <br />4:00 P. M. an additional charge of fifty dollars ($50.00) <br />is imposed. <br /> <br /> (4) For disinterring and reinterring bodies, <br />the charge will be double that which is quoted above. <br /> <br /> (b) The above fees and charges shall be paid before <br />the work is performed and a receipt shall be taken therefor. <br /> <br /> 2.
