A RESOLUTION FOR APPOINTING ¥±bI~ERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREw±' PAP~T,LET, TO DUNEDIN WHEREAS, Catalina Development Corporation and Roberta Land Corporation have made application to vacate and close that hereir~ter described portion of a certain street located in the East Southdale area and it appearing that notice of the application a~d request for appointment of vie~rs was duly posted on October l, 1968, on the bul- letin board of the Court of Hustings for the City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the CiTy of Portsmouth, and on the bulletin board of the Municipal Court of the City of Portsmouth. NOW, ~RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Louis Leitner, R. A. Craig, Jr., Leo Schocklin, 5~illard Norman, and Herbert Robertson be appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of said certain street and report to this Council in ~m~iting whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result from vacating and closing the following portion of the specified street: Beginni~ at a point on the north side of Dunedin Road, 367 feet east of the northeast corner of the inter- section of Dunedin Road and-City Park Avenue and from said point of b'.eginning running thence along the side of a 26 foot road mn an easterly ~direction 524 feet, more or less, to another 26 foot road which runs from Portsmouth Boule- vard (fomerly Old Suffolk Boulevard) to Dunedin Road, thence in a northerly direction along said 26 foot road 26 feet, thenQe in a southwesterly direction, parallel to Dunedin Road, 524 feet, more or less, thence S 193°~5'~0'' W along a line 26 feet to the point of beginning, Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held November 12, 1968.
