A RESOLUTION FOR APPOINTING ¥1E~ FOR CLOSING <br />A PORTION OF A CERTAIN AIJ,EY IN PIEDMONT HEIGHTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Randolph Fairctoth has made application to vacate <br />and close that hereinafter described portion of a certain alley <br />located in the Piedmont Heights area and it appearing that notice <br />of ~he application and request for appointment of viewers was <br />duly posted on September 17, 1968, on the bulletin board of the <br />Court of Hustings for the City of Port~mouth, on the bulletin <br />board of the Circuit Cou~t of the City of Portsmouth, and on the <br />bulletin board of the Municipal Court of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br /> of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Zalmon I. Blackman, L~ A. Clark, <br /> James V. McOehee, Graydon D. [~eginley, and Frs~_k N. Bilisoly be <br /> appointed viewers ~o view the hereinafter described portion of <br /> said certain alley and report to this Council in writing Whether <br /> in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result <br /> from vacating and closing that portion of a certain alley ten [10) <br /> feet in ~[dth lying between lots 15 and 16 on the east and lots <br /> 29 and 30 om the west in Block 3, as shown on the plat of Piedmont <br /> H~ights, recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Cornet of the <br />~City of Chesapeake, Virginia, in Map Book 4, at page 52. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held October 8, 1968. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
