'RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORTS- <br />240UTH, VIRGINIA, APPROVING THE RED~-UJELOPi~[ENT <br />PI~AN AS A~4ENDED BY ~2~IENDI~[ENT NO. 4, CPJAWFORD <br />URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT, VA. R-53. <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, by resolution adopted August 9, 1967, the <br />Council of theC!~y'~ of Portsmouth approved a ~eaev~lopment~ ~ Plan <br />for the .Crawford Urban Renewal Project, designated as Project <br />VA R-53; and <br /> <br /> WHER~EAS~ in accordance with Section F of the said <br />Plan, it so proviaes that said Redevelopment Plan~may be amended <br />by the Portsmouth RedevelQpment and Housing Authority with the <br />consent of the City Council; and <br /> <br />~uthority <br />has found <br />Plan; and <br /> <br />?~EREAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing <br />in undertaking ~he execution of the Project No. VA R-53 <br />it necessary to make minor changes to said Redevetopmeht~_. <br /> <br /> ?~EREAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and }Iousing Auth- <br />ority.h~s approved the changes to the Redevelopment Plan by Reso- <br />lution, which Plan dated November~ 1970, together with said Reso- <br />lution, has been referred to City Council for review and approval, <br />and the City Council has ~uly considered said Redevelopment P!an; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CiTY OF PORTSMOUTH? VIRGINIA: <br /> <br />I.
