71 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GR~NTING A U~ tr~I~T FOR THE OPERATION <br />OF ~,WL%~%IC TR~NS~[SSION Li~ ~ ~%~ ~OM ~ <br />~ ET~C ~ ~'~' CO~B2~ ~A~ON ON <br />~ ~ TO ~ ~Y IS~ ~ D~T. <br /> <br /> WHERF~£, Virginia Electric a~J Power Company has m~de application <br />pursuant to Section 4-2 of the Zoning O~fdiuance of the City of Portsmouth, <br />1961, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the P!arming Direct. or ~ave done all <br />'things required to be done in connection with sa~d appllcation, and the <br /> Pl~ Cmm~ission has recommended the granting of said Use permit, sub- <br /> Ject to the ~ conditions hereinafter stated. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by 'the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> A. That the u~e for which the use permit hereinafter described <br />is sought (1) will not adversely affect the health or safety of persons <br />residirg or Working in the neighborhood of the proposed use, (2) will not <br />be detrLmental to the public welfare or injurious to property or impr0ve~ <br />· ~nts Ln the neighborhood, and (3) wil[t be in'accord with the ptu~poses Of <br />said Zoniug Ordinance. <br /> <br /> B. That the Virginia Electric and Power.
