55 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A'USE PERMIT FOR THE <br />OPERATION OF A MOBILE HOME PARE AT THE NORTH- <br />EAST INTERSECTION OF GUST LANE AND CLAREMONT <br />DRIVE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Construction Associates, Incl, has made ap- <br />plication pursuant to Section 4-2 of the Zoning Ordinance of <br />the City of Portsmouth, 1961, for the granting of a use per- <br />mit-as hereinafter described;and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicantand the Planning Director have <br /> done all things required to be done in connection with said ap- <br /> plication, and the Planning Commission has considered the grant- <br /> ing of said use permit, subject-to the conditions hereinafter <br />.stated. · <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> A. That the use for which the use permit hereinafter <br />described is sought (1) will not adversely affect the healthor <br />safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the <br />proposed use, (2) will not be detrimental to the p.ublic welfare <br />or ~njurious to property or impr6vemen~s in the neighborhood, <br />~and .~ ~ill~e i~accord wi~th~the~p~rposes ~ofsaid Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br /> B. That Construction Associates, Inc., 'is hereby <br />granted a use permit subject to site plan restrictions, pursuant <br />to Section 4-2 of said Zoning Ordinance for the operation of a <br />Mobile Home Park located on the property described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the northeast corner of Gust Lane and <br />Claremont Drive; thence easterly approximately 187 feet to a <br />creek line; thence westerly along said creek approximately 380 <br />feet; thence easterly approximately 440 feet to a point; thence <br />westerly approximately 53 feet; thence easterly approximately <br />119 feet to a rear property line; thence northerly approximately <br />240 feet to a point; thence westerly approximately 1,620 feet to <br />the south right of way line of Victory Boutevard;~thence wester- <br />ly along Victory Boulevard approximately 800 feet to a side.lot <br />line; thence southerly approximately 334 feet to the right of <br />way line of Gust Lane; thence southeasterly along Gust Lane ap- <br />proximately 2,700 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held Decambe~ 6~ 1971. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
