A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE STATION AT THE SOUTHEAST INTERSECTION OF BRIGHTON STREET AND RODMANAVENUE. WHEREAS, Rosso-Mastracco,~ Inc., has made application pursuant to Section 4-2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City.of Portsmouth, 1961, for the granting of a use permit as herein- after described; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to-bedcne in connection with said 'ap- plication, and the Planning Commissionhas considered the grant- ing of said use permit, subject tot he conditions hereinafter stated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: A. That the use for which the use permit hereinafter described is sought (1) will not adversely.affect the health or safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the pro~o~ed.use, (2) will not be detrimental to the public welfar~ or ~nsurlous to property or improvements in the neighborhood, _and 135 .~ill.he in accc~rd with the .purposes of said Zoning Ordinance. B. That Rosso-Mastracco, Inc., is hereby granted a use permit subject to site plan restrictions~ pursuant to Section 4-2 of said Zoning Ordinance for the operation of an Automotive Service Station located on the property described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of Brighton Street and Rodman Avenue; thence south along the east side.of Rodman Avenue approximately 162 feet to a point; thence east approxi- mately 120 feet to a point; thence north approximately 53 feet to a point; thence west approximately 30 feet to a point; thence north approximately 108 feet to the south right of way line'of Brighton Street; thence west along said.right of ~y.approxi- mately 90 feet to Rodman'Avenue, the poznt of begi~lng.
