RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING OF A PORTION OF HULL <br />STREET BETWEEN BAGLEY STREET AND FREDERICK BOULEVARD FOR A DIS- <br />TANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Felix Sparks, Jr., Ida Sparks, and John <br />Thomas have made application to vacate and close the herein- <br />after described portion of a certain street and it appearing <br />that notice of the application and request for the appointment <br />of viswers was duly posted on November 12, 1971, on the bulle- <br />tin board of the Court of Hustings for the City of Portsmouth, <br />on the Virginia Electric and Power Company pole number 9121 <br />at the northeast corner of Hull and Bagley Streets, and on <br />the Virginia Electric and Power Company pole number 9064 at <br />the north side of Hull Street west of Bagley Street in front <br />of subject property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, L. A. <br />Clarke, Luther Tapp, James Choate and Loyed W. Gardner, be ap- <br />pointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of <br />such street and report to this council in writing whether in <br />their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result <br />from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at a point where the southern boundary line <br />of lot 336 as shown on the Plat of North Truxton intersects the <br />east side of Bagley Street; thence running easterly a distance <br />of 95 feet to a point; thence running southerly a distance of <br />50 feet to a point; thence running westerly a distance of 100 <br />feet to a point on the east side of Bagley Street; thence run- <br />ning northerly along the east side of Bagley Street a distance <br />of 50 feet to the point of beginning. Being that portion of <br />Hull Street east of Bagtey Street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held November 23~ 1971~ <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
