A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WI~H THE <br />VIRGINIA DEPARTP~NT OF HIGHWAYS CONCERNING THE FUNDING AN5 CON- <br /> <br />STRUCTION OF AN IA~USTRIAL ACCESS ROAD~ STATE PROJECT 999S <br />101, C-501, BETWEEN VICTORY BOULEVARD AND LAIGH ROAD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth desires to provi <br />an access road to service industries between Victory Boule <br />and Laigh Road north of Interstate 264; and <br /> <br />join <br />trial <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, the Virginia Department of Highways wil <br />the City in the construction and funding of said indu <br /> access road. <br /> <br />-124- <br /> <br />vard <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be and he <br />hereby is authorized to execute an agreement as attached here- <br />to with the Virginia Depart/~ent of Highways which will provide <br />for the funding and construction of said industrial access <br />road, State Project 9999-124-101, C-501, between Victory Boule- <br />vard and Laigh Road. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held November 9, 1971, <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
