A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF A TEN <br />FOOT ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN EVERGREEN PLACE AND ROANOKE AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, James C. Faust, Morton R. Wiltiford, Purvis <br />H. Richardson, Regis Parker, Sr., Cora L. Goodman, Gracie L. <br />Williams, Miriam Jackson, Thomas Brown, William Wright, Dennis <br />Lawrence, and Milton Copeland have made application to vacate <br />and close the hereinafter described portion of a certain alley <br />and it appearing that not~ce of the application and request for <br />the appointment of viewers was duly posted on July 28, 1972, on <br />the bulletin board of the Court of Hustings for the City of Ports- <br />mouth, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of <br />Portsmouth, and on the bulletin board of the Municipal Court, <br />Civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, Louis J. <br />Leitner, L. A. Clark, Zalmon I. Blachman and F. J. Bergeron be <br />appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of <br />such alley and report to phis council in writing whether in <br />their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result <br />from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of a 10 foot alley located <br />at the rear of the property line of the property <br />located on the east side of Evergreen Place, and <br />the property located on the west side of Roanoke <br />Avenue, beginning at the north side of Watts <br />Avenue and running north a distance of approxi- <br />mately two hundred fifty (250) feet. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginig, at a meeting held August 22, 1972. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
