6?¸ A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR A GROUP HOUSING PROJECT PURSUANT TO SECTION 3-26 OF T~ Z©NING ORDINANCE, SUCH PRO- JECT BEING KNO~ AS ?LEAS~ WOODS~AR%J/~.?LfS AND DESIGNATED AS GHP-72-3 W~HEREAS~ Ma~arConstPuction Co. ofNe~oPJ'News and its agent~ Mm.~~,e ~ have made ap- plication pursuant to SectiOn 3-26 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth. 1961, for the granting of approval for a group housing projectknown as P!eas~nt Wo~sApartments (GHP- 72-3 )~ and WHEREAS, the application for same has been determined by the Planning Com~ission to have met the requirements of said Section 3-26; and W~EREB~ the Planning Commission b~s reviewed such ap- pxmcat_on and the site plan submitted therewith and has reco~mend- ed approval of said application~ and ~EP~EAS~ the developer has been informed that approval of a group housing project pursuant to said Section 3~26 grants only an exemption from certain dimensional requirements for residences as stated in the appropriate section of D~ticte 5 ~nd does not constitute a waiver of any other requirements em- bodied in the Subdivision Ordinance~ ~e Zoning Ordinance~ the Code of the City of Portsmouth and any other applicable state or federal iaws~ and W~ER~A~ the developer is aware that building permits ~d/or any other required permits will be issued only upon com- pliance with ordinances or laws applicable thereto. NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth~ V~zg~m~ that that certain group housing project known as Pleas~nt Woods Ao~tments and designated as GHP- 72-3 and more specifically shown on a __ Apartments plat entitled "Ple~ant Woods ~-- ~ " dated Novav~er 21~ 1972 ~ prepared by E.E.~ · and attached hereto and made a part hereof~ is hereby granted approval° Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- ginia, at a meeting held November 21~ 1972 Teste: City Clerk
