A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR A GROUP HOUSING PROJECT PURSUANT TO SECTION 3-26 OF T~{E ZONING OPdDiNANCE, SUCH PRO- JECT BE~rNG KNOWN AS AND DESIGNATED AS WHEREAS, J~s V. Bic~or~ III and ~b~ agent~ J. P~-i~--J~ ~ ~ ~ have made ap- plication pursuant to Sectlon ~-26 the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth~ 1961~ for the granting of approval for a group housing project kno~ as Syc~r~ Hill (G~P- 72~ ); and ~EREAS: the application for by the Planning Com~ission to have met Section 3-2~; and same nas been de~erm~ed the requirements of said ~E~EREAS~ the Planning Com~mission has reviewed such ap- plication and the site plan submitted therewith and has reco~end- ed approval of said app%ication~ and WHEREAS, the developer has been informed that approval of a group hcusing project pursuant to said Section 3-26 grants only an exemption from certain dimensiona~ requirements for residences as stated in the appropriate section of Article 5 and does ~not constitute a waiver of ,any other requlrements bodied in the Subdivision Ordinance~ the Zoning Ordinance~ the Code of the City of Portsmouth and any other applicable state or federal laws~ and ~qLEREAs~ the developer is aware that build'~ng p=~mzts-~ ' and/or any other required permits will be issued only upon com- pliance with ordinances or laws applicable thereto. NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth~ Virginia~ that that certain group housing project known as S_~c~o~? Hill and designated as GHP-72-4 and more specifically shown on a plat entitled "_SSyc~D?e ~!1 dated ~ O~t~j~ _~I~_~,.,7~ _~ prepared by Batd~n ~nd G~' · ana autached hereto and maee apa~ hereof, is hereby granted approval.
