A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF A SIXTEEN FOOT ALLEY LOCATED BET?~EN ARDEN STREET AND ~ST NORFOLK ROAD. WHEREAS, Pearl Splvey and Hortense Hathaway have made application to vacate and close the hereinafter described por- tion of a certain alley and it appearing that notice of the application and request for the appointment of viewers was duly posted on September 19, 1972, on the bulletin board of the Court of Hustings for the City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Ports- mouth, and on the bulletin board of the Municipal Court, Civil Division of the City of Portsmouth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth~ Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, Louis J. Leitner, L. A. Clark, Zalmon I. BlacP~an and F. J. Bergeron be appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of such alley and report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result from vacating and closing the following: Beginning at the southeast corner of Arden Street and Tyre Neck Road; thence south along the eastern right-of-way line of Tyre Neck Road 142 feet to a point which is the northern right- of-way line of a 16 foot alley not improved which is the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence east 185 feet along the northern right-of-way line of said alley to a point; thence south 16 feet to the southern right-of-way line of said alley; thence west 185 feet along the southern right-of-way line of said alley to the east right-of-way line of Tyre Neck Road; thence north 16 feet along the eastern right- of-way line of Tyre Neck Road returning to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
