RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF BLUE- <br />GILL AVENUE BETWEEN WALDRON AVENUE AND GREENWOOD DRIVE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Stewart and Mr. and <br />Mrs. John W. Sedberry have made application to vacate and <br />close the hereinafter described portion of a certain street' <br />and it appearing that notice of the application and request <br />for the appointment of viewers was duly posted on May 23, <br />1973, on the bulletin board of the Court of Hustings for the <br />City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court <br />of the City of Portsmouth, and on the bulletin board of the <br />Municipal Court, Civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, James <br />V. McGehee, Raymond Tweed, Zalmon I. Blachman and R. Irvine <br />Smith, be appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described <br />portion of such street and report to this Council in writing <br />whether in their opinion, any, and if any, what inconvenience <br />would result from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> Ail that certain piece or parcel of land <br />lying and being in the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, and being that portion of Bluegill <br />Avenue, formerly First Street, located between <br />the southern right of way line of Waldron Ave- <br />nue and the northern right of way line of Green- <br />wood Drive, which street is approximately 20 <br />feet wide and 217 feet long and is in an un- <br />improved condition. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held June 12, 1973. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
