RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF WEST <br />ROAD ADJACENT TO MARYVIEW HOSPITAL. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Maryview Hospital has made application to <br />vacate and close the hereinafter described portion of a certain <br />street and it appearing that notice of the application and re- <br />quest for the appointment of viewers was duly posted on May 11, <br />1973, on the bulletin board of the Court of Hustings for the <br />City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court <br />of the City of Portsmouth, and on the bulletin board of the <br />Municipal Court, Civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, James V. <br />McGehee, Raymond Tweed, Zalmon I. Blachman and R. Irvine smith, <br />be appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion <br />of such street and report to this Council in writing whether <br />in their opinion, any, and if any, what inconvenience would <br />result from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> That portion of West Road which is described <br />as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at a point on <br />the Eastern right of way line of West Road at <br />the Northeastern corner of a portion of said <br />West Road which has been previously closed by <br />ordinance of the City Council as said road ad- <br />joins Maryview Hospital; thence from said point <br />of beginning running North 41°14'26" West 124.31 <br />feet to a point on the West right of way line <br />of said West Road; thence running Southerly along <br />the arc of a curve to the right, said curve hav- <br />ing a radius of 243.26 feet a distance of 82.94 <br />feet to a point (said last bearing and distance <br />call being on the Western right of way line of <br />West Road); thence runnlng South 82"06'37" East <br />80 feet to the said point of beginning; and also <br />closed was a portion of any cul de sac turn- <br />around lying South or West of the first mention- <br />ed bearing call hereinabove indicated, <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />glnia, at a meeting held June 12, 1973. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
