RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF MEANDER <br />ROAD LYING BETWEEN TURNPIKE ROAD ON THE SOUTH ANDEASTAND <br />HARBOR ROAD AND COUNTY STREET ON THE NORTH AND WEST. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lewis Chevrolet Corporation has made appli- <br />cation to vacate and close the hereinafter described portion <br />of a certain street and it appearing that notice of the appli- <br />cation and request for the appointment of viewers was duly <br />posted on May 11, 1973, on the bulletin board of the Court of <br />Hustings for the City of Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of <br />the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and on the bulle- <br />tin board of the Municipal Court, Civil Division, of the City <br />of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, James V. <br />McGehee, Raymond Tweed, Zalmon i. Blachman and R. Irvine Smith, <br />be appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion <br />of such street and report to this Council in writing whether <br />in their opinion, any, and if any, what inconvenience would <br />result from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> That portion of Meander Road which lies be- <br />tween Turnpike Road, on the South and East; <br />and Harbor Road and County Street, on the <br />North and West. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held June 12, 1973. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
