A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF LEONARD <br />AVENUE LOCATED SOUTH OF PORTSMOUTH BOULEVARD (S-73-14). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, P. Winfred Thomson, Thomas R. Dail, and B. R. <br />Johnson, trading as The Manor Shops have made application to <br />vacate and close the hereinafter described portion of a certain <br />street and it appearing that notice of the application and re- <br />quest for the appoin~a~ent of viewers was duly posted on Septem- <br />ber 25, i973 on the several bulletin boards of the Circuit Court <br />of the City of Portsmouth and on the bulletin board of the Gen- <br />eral District Court of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, Raymond <br />Tweed, Zaimon-i. B!achman~ Louis J. Leitner, and James L. Choate, <br />be appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion <br />of such street and r~port to this Council in writing whether in <br />their opinion, any~ and if any, what inconvenience would result <br />from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> Such portion, if any~ of Leonard Street as <br />may exist immediately to the South of that <br />portion closed by Ordinance of th~ City of <br />Portsmouth adopted by Council on December 23, <br />1963, and being any part of Leonard Avenue <br />shown on the Plat of Mayflower Park, Plat No. <br />2, of record in the Office of ~he Clerk of <br />the Circuit Court of the City of Chesapeake, <br />Virginia, in Map Book 34, at page 2, as may <br />have been omitted from the description of the <br />Ordinance closing a portion of said street as <br />aforementioned. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vlr- <br />ginia, at a meeting held October 9, 1973. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
