A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE AND RE- <br />CEIVE BIDS FOR CERTAIN CITY-OWNED PROPERTY (LONDON BOULEVARD <br />JIB PARCELS). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth currently owns several <br />parcels of land located on the north side o'f London Boulevard; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, the several parcels are more fully identified <br />as Parcels 25, 26, and 29 as shown on Tax Plate 58, on file in <br />the office of the City Assessor; and <br /> WHERE~S, said parcels are. residual pieces which were <br /> acquired but not utilized in the construction of London Boule- <br /> yard; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has no further need <br /> for said parcels and they are, therefore, surplus property. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the <br /> City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he <br /> hereby is, authorized to advertise and receive bids for the <br /> to <br /> · d <br /> hereinabove describe property on such terms and subject <br /> such minimum bid restrictions as he may deem proper. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br /> ginia, at a meeting held August 14, 1973. <br /> Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
