~7 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1976 CO~MUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT PROGR~4. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth is undertaking <br />activities to execute the 1976 Community Development Pro- <br />gram; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain <br />changes are required to such program to assist in the con- <br />struction of low and moderate income housing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such changes are consistant with the <br />objectives of the Portsmouth Co~u~aunity Development Program <br />and the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council <br />of the City of Portsmoutht Virginia, that it approves <br />Amendment No. 2 to the 1976 Community Development Program. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURT}~R RESOLVED that the City Manager is <br />directed to take all necessary actions to obtain Federal <br />approval of this Amendment to the 1976 Community Development <br />Program. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held June 22, 1976. <br /> <br />Teste: ~ <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
