A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH biENTAL HEALTH <br />AND MENTAL RETARDATION SERVICES BOARD'S PROGRAM FOR SERVICES <br />AND FACILITIES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1976-77, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN <br />LIMITATIONS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 37.1-197, Code of Virginia, 1950, <br />as amended, requires every Community Mental Health and <br />Mental Retardation Services Board to have approved its plan <br />and budget by the governing body of the political subdivision <br />of which it is an agency; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary that this Council approve <br />and endorse such a program for the City of Portsmouth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ this Council has reviewed such a program <br />and finds it well adapted to the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that it does hereby approve <br />and endorse the Portsmouth Mental Health and Mental Re- <br />tardation Services Board's Program for services and fac- <br />ilities for fiscal year 1976-77, subject to modification in <br />funding as approved in the 1976-77 operating budget for <br />mental health. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is <br />authorized and directed to prepare a certified copy of <br />this resolution to be submitted to the appropriate state <br />agencies. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City o~ Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held June 22~ 1976. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
