A RESOLUTION ~PPROVING ~2~ENDMENTS TO THE SOUTHSIDE II A~[D SOUTHSIDE III REDEVELOPMENT PLANS. ~=HEREAS, this Council, by resolutzons on December 17, 1974 and February 26, 1976, respectively adopted re- development plans for the Southside II and III Redevelopment Projects; and WHEREAS, there has been presented to this body for consideration and approval a proposed Amendment No. 2 to the Southside II Redevelopment Plan and proposed Amendment No. 1 to the Southside III Redevelopment Plan, said amendments to effectuate certain minor adjustments to said documents; and W}{EREAS, said Amendments will facilitate the re- development program in these areas; and WHEREAS, said amendment has been carefully reviewed and the amended Redevelopment Plans conform to the general Jplan for development of the City of Portsmouth as a whole; and WHEREAS, in the judgment of this Council the interest of the City and its inhabitants that ments be approved. it is in said amend- NOW, THEREFOP~, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia that Amendment No. 2 to the Re- development Plan for the Southside ti Redevelopment Project and Amendment No. 1 to the Redevelopment Plan for the Southside III Redevelopment Project, having been duly revie¥~ed and con- sidered, it is hereby found: (a) That the objectives of the III Redevelopment Projects can be better adoption of these amendments.
