6 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF <br /> ~x ~ ...... mr. ~ ~ ~ COLiD.!BIA STREETS. <br />I~ES~[O~.~t~A~D ~VENUE BETI~=~N COUNTY .~.Nb <br /> <br /> }7HEREAS, David John Noland and Rebecca K. No!and <br />have made application ~o vacate and close the hereinafter <br />described portion of a certain street, and it appearing that <br />the application and request for the apoointment of viewers <br />was duly posted January 7, 1976, on the bulletin board of <br />the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, the bulletin <br />board of the General District Court, Civil Division, of the <br />City of Portsmouth, the bulletin board of the Juvenile and <br />Domestic Court, of the City of Portsmouth, Vfrginia. <br /> <br /> NOW, TI!EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that L~non Vann, C. E. <br />Ellis, Frank N. Bilisoly, James V. McGehee, and Raymond <br />Tweed be appointed as viewers to view the hereinafter <br />described portion of such street and to report to this <br />Council in writing whether in their opinion, any, and if <br />any, what inconvenience would result in vacating and closing <br />the following: <br /> <br />Virginia, <br /> <br /> All that certain piece or oarcel <br />of land, situate in the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, and being that portion of the <br />street now known as Westmoreland Avenue, <br />formerly Lawrence Avenue, shown on the <br />plat of the Portsmouth Suburban and <br />Investment Company, duly recorded in the <br />Clerk's office of the Circuit Court of~the <br />City of Chesapeake in Mao Book 4, page 94, <br />which lies between the south line of County <br />Street and the north line of Columbia <br />Street, as shown on said plat. Said pro- <br />perty is shown on Map 310 of the Tax <br />Map of the City of Portsmouth and adjoins <br />Parcels one (1) and two (2), as shown on <br />said plat. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br /> at a meeting held January 27, 1976. <br /> <br />Testa: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
