6 RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF ~x ~ ...... mr. ~ ~ ~ COLiD.!BIA STREETS. I~ES~[O~.~t~A~D ~VENUE BETI~=~N COUNTY .~.Nb }7HEREAS, David John Noland and Rebecca K. No!and have made application ~o vacate and close the hereinafter described portion of a certain street, and it appearing that the application and request for the apoointment of viewers was duly posted January 7, 1976, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, the bulletin board of the General District Court, Civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth, the bulletin board of the Juvenile and Domestic Court, of the City of Portsmouth, Vfrginia. NOW, TI!EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that L~non Vann, C. E. Ellis, Frank N. Bilisoly, James V. McGehee, and Raymond Tweed be appointed as viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of such street and to report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion, any, and if any, what inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the following: Virginia, All that certain piece or oarcel of land, situate in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, and being that portion of the street now known as Westmoreland Avenue, formerly Lawrence Avenue, shown on the plat of the Portsmouth Suburban and Investment Company, duly recorded in the Clerk's office of the Circuit Court of~the City of Chesapeake in Mao Book 4, page 94, which lies between the south line of County Street and the north line of Columbia Street, as shown on said plat. Said pro- perty is shown on Map 310 of the Tax Map of the City of Portsmouth and adjoins Parcels one (1) and two (2), as shown on said plat.
