5 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ~3POINTING VIEW~RS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF <br />FLORIDA AVENUE BETWEEN HIGH STREET ~2~D KING STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing <br />Authority has made application to vacate and close the <br />hereinafter described portion of a certain street, and it <br />appearing that the notice of the application and request <br />for appointment of viewers was duly posted January 16, 1976, <br />on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of <br />Portsmouth, the bulletin board of the Council Chambers of <br />the City of Portsmouth and the bulletin board of the General <br />District Court, Civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virgmnia, that Linon Vann, C. E. <br />Ellis, Frank N. Bilisoly, James V. McGehee and Raymond T~eed <br />be appointed as viewers to vzew the hereinafter described <br />portzon of such street and to report to this Council in <br />writing whether in their opinion, any, and if any, what in- <br />convenience would result in vacating and closing the <br />following: <br /> <br /> Ail that certain piece or parcel of <br />land lying and being in the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia, and comprising %hat por- <br />tion of Florida Avenue beginning 110 feet <br />six inches, more or less, south from the <br />southernmost line of High Street which lies <br />southerly of the western prolongation of the <br />southern property line of that property <br />owned by Oscar Brown, et al. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held January 27, 1976. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
