A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY M3~AGER TO UTILIZE $20,000. PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED FOR THE ELM AVENUE POOL FROM THE GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND IN THE CAPIT~ IMPROVEMENT CATEGORY FOR RECREATION, SAID ~OUNT TO BE UTILIZED FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: $!!,O00. TO BE UTILIZED FOR CO~PLETION OF REPAIRS AT THE ELM AVENUE NEIGHBORHOOD FACILITY; $9,000. TO BE UTILIZED FOR REPAIRS TO THE CAVALIER ~.SANOR POOL. WHEREAS, by ordinance dated January 28t 1975, the Council of the City of Portsmouth appropriated $128,000. from the General Revenue Sharing Fund in the Capital Improvement category for recreation for the Elm Avenue pool; and WHEREAS, an unencumbered balance in the amount of $20,000. was left in this appropriation; and WHEREAS, the amount of $11,000. is required to complete the repairs to the Elm Avenue neighborhood facility; and WHEREAS, the amount of $9,000- is required for repairs to the Cavalier Manor pool; and WHEREAS, the last two above-mentioned pro- jects are within the Capital Improvement category for recreation of the General Revenue Sharing Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth~ Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is~ authorized to utilize Twenty Thousand and 00/100 ($20,000.) Dollars previously appropriated for the Elm Avenue pool from the General Revenue Sharing Fund in the Capital Improvement category for recreation, said amount to be utilized as follows: Eleven Thousand and 00/100 ($11,O00.) Dollars for completion of repairs to the Elm Avenue neighborhood facility, Nine Thousand and 00/100 ($9,000.) Dollars for the repairs to the Cavalier Manor pool.
