126 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CA~NCELLING THE CITY COUNCILMEETtNGS OF DECEMBER <br />7 AND DECEMBER 21, 1976; SCHEDULING A MEETING ON DECEMBER 14~ <br />1976. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, December 7 and 21, 1976 are the regularly <br />scheduled meeting dates for the City Council in the month of <br />December; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, December 21 ls in the same week of the Christ- <br />mas holidays; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council does not deem it necessary to have <br />two City Council meetings in December. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth that the scheduled City Council meetings on <br />December 7 and 21, 1976 are cancelled. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council shall <br />meet on December 14, 1976 at 7:30 P.M. in the City Council Chamber. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the regularly scheduled <br />Public Hearing on December 6, 1976 shall be held as scheduled. <br /> <br /> This resolution shall take effect from the date of its <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held November 9, 1976. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
