A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY M3~NAGER TO RELEASE AND <br />VACATE A CERTAIN 15 FOOT DRAINAGE EASEMENT ON PARCEL 7, <br />NORTHSIDE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT, VAR-69, PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ a minor subdivision plat entitled "Plat <br />Showing Survey of Reuse Parcels 7 and 7A~ Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, for Northside Redevelopment Project, VAR-39:~, dated <br />July 1, 1976, revised July 14, 1976, prepared by Baldwin & <br />Gregg, Ltd., Engineers, Surveyors, and Planners, Portsmouth~ <br />Virginia, and duly recorded in the Clerk's Office of the <br />Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, in ~Iap <br />Book 9, page 93, dedicated to the City of Portsmouth a <br />certain 15 foot drainage easement which runs through said <br />Parcel 7 from the West side of Elm Avenue to approxima~tely <br />the middle of the northern boundary of said Parcel 7 and <br />is more fully described on the plat attached hereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said 15 foot drainage easement <br />longer required by the City of Portsmouth for the <br />of water from the City streets. <br /> <br />is no <br />collection <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, <br />and he hereby is, authorized to execute such deed and docu- <br />ments of release and vacation as may be necessary to release <br />and vacate the interest of the City in said 15 foot drainage <br />easement on Parcel 7, Northside Redevelopment Project, VAR- <br />39, Portsmouth, Virginia. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held September 14, 1976. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
