RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING T~E FOLLOWING <br />-~S~REET: A PORTION OF POTOMAC AVENUE (S-77-10) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Construction Associates, Inc. and Melville <br />Corporation have made application to vacate and close the here- <br />inafter described portion of a certain street, and it appear- <br />ing that notice of application and request for the appointment <br />of viewers was duly posted April 13, 1977 on the bulletin board <br />of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, the bulletin <br />board of the City Hall Building of the City of Portsmouth and <br />the bulletin board of the General District Court, Civil Divi- <br />sion, of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that, Frank N. Bilisoly, James H. <br />Griffin, James Choate, Harrison Miller and L. A. Clark be appoint- <br />ed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of such <br />street and to report to this Council in writing whether in their <br />opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result in va- <br />cating and closing the following: <br /> <br />POTOMAC AVENUE (formerly called Avenue) as <br />shown on the Plat of Virginia Realty and In- <br />vestment Company, which plat is recorded in <br />the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of <br />the City of Chesapeake, Virginia, in Map Book <br />7, at pages 98, 99 and 100, with the area of <br />said street to be. closed being bounded cn the <br />north by the southern right of way of Colum- <br />bia Street and on the So~th by the northern <br />right of way of Soutk Street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held April 26, 1977. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
