That, in order to implement and facilitate the <br />effectuation o~ the Plan, this Council hereby <br />(a) pledges its cooperation in the execution of <br />the Plan; (b) requests the various officials, <br />departments, boards and agencies of the City of <br />Portsmouth having administrative responsibilities <br />likewise to cooperate to such end and to exercise <br />their respective functions and powers in a manner <br />consistent with the Plan; (c) acknowledges that <br />conservation measures and other activities described <br />within the Plan will be carried out in accordance <br />with availability of funds; and (d) stands ready to <br />consider and take appropriate action upon proposals <br />and measures designed to effectuate the Plan. <br /> <br />That the Plan for the Project, having been duly reviewed <br />and considered, is hereby approved, and the City Clerk <br />be, and she is hereby directed to file said copy of the <br />Plan with the minutes of this meeting. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City'of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held September 26, 1978. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
