13 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING THE FOLLOWING: <br />ALL THAT PORTION OF CHEROKEE ROAD EXTENDED. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Trustees of Olive Branch Baptist Church <br />have made application to vacate, close and discontinue the <br />hereinafter-described portion of Cherokee Road Extended, and <br />it appearing that Notice of Application for the appointment <br />of viewers was duly posted January 19, 1979 on the bulletin <br />board of the General District Court, Civil Division, of the <br />City of Portsmouth, the bulletin board of' the Circuit Court <br />of the City of Portsmouth, and the bulletin board of City <br />Hall of the City of Portsmouth. ~ <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, Linon <br />Vann, Js3aes Linehan, Richard Ottavio and James McGehee, be <br />appointed viewers and Robert Reed be appointed an alternate <br />viewer in the event one of the preceding viewers fail to <br />participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter-described <br />portion of such road and to report to this Council in writing <br />whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience <br />would result in vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />CHEROKEE ROAD <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of Cherokee Road Ex- <br />tended at the property line of Isadore Wallace, <br />which said point is approximately 200 feet east <br />of the point where Cherokee Road reduces~ in <br />size from a 50 foot right-of-way, and from <br />Said point; thence continuing in a south-easterly <br />direction 432.44 feet to the line of the property <br />of W. L. Holland, which said south-eastern point <br />is approximately 175 feet from the north side of <br />Airline Boulevard. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held February 13, 1979. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
